Have you ever read or watched The Secret? I did in high school and I clearly remember one thing that stuck with me. What you put out into the universe, you receive in return. It always seems that when I wake up on the wrong side of the bed, have a bad attitude, feel stressed or tired and even overwhelmed, that's when my day only gets worse. Like a ripple affect or 'When it Rains it Pours'.....
What I've learned is that it's all in the power of our mind. Not only can we control the outcome of our day by a simple switch of attitude, we can use our thoughts to help us reach our goals!
When you believe something with conviction you make choices to defend that belief. Making those fitness and nutrition goals a reality all have to start somewhere. Once you fully believe in yourself and in the power of your physical body, it has no choice but to achieve those goals.
I have written that saying on my bathroom mirror before. Another tip I've learned is to visualize or actually see your goals and reminders daily. It's like an instant pep talk and it's keeps those goals in the front of our mind. That way you're constantly putting that energy out there and it can't help it. It's the law of attraction. Those dreams and goals HAVE to become a reality.
So....Believe it.

ReplyDeleteTeresa, I've just discovered your blog and love it. I have a quick question for you though: What kind of shoes do you recommend for Zumba. Is it better to have the split sole shoes or are any trainers/sneakers good? Any type or make you'd recommend?
